About Ketoside

Last updated:

Ketoside is a US food-label site for people eating keto or low carb. We look up the Nutrition Facts panel for store-bought products (bread, snacks, pasta, crackers, bagels, and items at stores like Costco), work out net carbs the same way every time, and put the source and date next to every number.

Why it exists

“Keto” on a package isn’t a regulated claim, and brands count net carbs in different ways. The same product can show 2 g net on the front and 8 g when you do the math yourself. We wanted one place where the math is the same for every product, the brand’s own claim sits right beside ours, and you can see where each figure came from.

What you’ll find here

Who runs it

Ketoside is run by Nicolas. Nicolas decides what gets published and is responsible for corrections. You can reach us at hello@ketoside.com or on the contact page.

How we work

Every figure comes from a dated source we actually loaded and read, such as a brand page or a retailer product page. We rank by our own net carbs per serving, never by price. We show “Price not checked yet” or “not verified yet” rather than guess. The full rules are in our editorial policy.

What we aren’t

We aren’t a medical site. A label tells you how much carbohydrate, fiber and sugar alcohol is in a serving; it can’t tell you how your body responds. If you have diabetes, take glucose-lowering medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or manage any medical condition, talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before you change how you eat. The American Diabetes Association recommends counting total carbs and monitoring your glucose (ADA).
