Privacy Policy

Short version: Ketoside doesn’t track you. There’s no analytics and no advertising, and we don’t set cookies.

What we don’t do

  • No analytics. We don’t use Google Analytics or any other tool that measures visitors.
  • Cookies. We don’t set cookies. Cloudflare, as our host, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse.
  • No third-party scripts. Nothing on our pages loads code from other companies.
  • No accounts and no forms. You can’t sign up or log in, and nothing you type on the site is sent to us.

Our tools

Our tools, such as the net carb label checker and the aisle finder, run in your browser. The aisle finder’s search runs on your device. The numbers you enter stay on your device and aren’t sent to us or stored anywhere. The aisle finder loads a data file from our own site so it can search products; that is a download to you, not an upload from you.

Server logs

Ketoside is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers, static assets), which acts as our hosting and content-delivery provider. To serve and protect the site, Cloudflare processes request data such as your IP address and your browser’s user agent, under its own privacy policy. On our side, Workers Logs are turned off, the site’s code doesn’t log requests, and there are no third-party scripts. We don’t use request data to build profiles of visitors.

If you email us

If you write to hello@ketoside.com, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you and, if you reported a correction, to follow up on it. We don’t sell or share it.

We have no affiliate links today. We may add some later (for example, links to a retailer where you can buy a product we list). If we do, before the first link goes live we will:

  1. Update this page to say which programs we joined and what information those partners may collect when you click a link, such as cookies they set on their own sites. Those cookies would belong to the partner, not us, and we’d still set none of our own.
  2. Put a plain disclosure above the first affiliate link on every page that has one: that we earn a commission if you buy through the link, at no extra cost to you, and that it doesn’t change our rankings. Our editorial policy says the same.
  3. Change the “last updated” date above.

If we ever add analytics or ads, we’ll update this page and the date the same way first.

Children

Ketoside is a general food-information site and isn’t aimed at children.
